pam-dbus-notify software package provides Handler for the pam-dbus module, using notification-daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pam-dbus-notify
pam-dbus-notify is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pam-dbus-notify package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pam-dbus-notify *
You will get with pam-dbus-notify package name, version, architecture and description in a table
